Rising Greek-American pop sensation EVANGELÍA continues her upward trajectory with the release of her latest EP, Alpha/Beta. This new collection follows closely on the heels of her breezy single “California Lullaby,” further solidifying her unique musical identity. Currently energizing audiences on her Feels Like Greek Summer North American tour, EVANGELÍA’s latest project is a testament to her dynamic fusion of Greek and American influences.
EVANGELÍA has demonstrated remarkable consistency and momentum since joining the Epic Records US roster in mid-2023. Her year began on a high note with the release of “California Lullaby,” and Alpha/Beta rejuvenates her recent work with both English and Greek versions of standout tracks like “Pali” and “Onira.” The English version of “Onira” is nearing 1 million views on YouTube, highlighting its widespread appeal.
The EP also features two versions of “Fotia,” including a collaboration with Eleni Foureira, which appears on Foureira’s Diamond-certified album Poli__Ploki. This collaboration exemplifies EVANGELÍA’s commitment to blending her Greek heritage with contemporary pop elements.
“Greece is in my blood, it lives in everything I do,” EVANGELÍA shares. “I’ve been weaving Greek and English together in new ways for the last 3 years, and this EP is the first time I’ve been able to have a project that captures all of me. ‘Pali’ has always been one of my favorite songs. Getting to create a new English version of it felt like I was writing Pali for the first time.”
Last night, EVANGELÍA gave a vibrant pre-release performance at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom, kicking off her 12-date North American tour. The Feels Like Greek Summer tour, her first in North America, will conclude in Seattle, WA on June 5. Fans can purchase tickets for the remaining dates on her official website, evangeliamusic.com.
