Big Brother Titan winner Khosi Twala’s phone has been stolen in Soweto by an e-hailing driver allegedly who was using the iPhone to navigate but after drop off he sped off. Khosi was in Soweto for her Good Deeds campaign. She arrived back home on weekend from her West Africa tour
Khosi said, we went to the last location on find my iPhone which is a phone shop, they have confirmed that the guy was at the shop and tried to unlock the phone so he definitely has it and attempting to steal it.
This has once again put the safety of e-hailing services on the spot, as drivers are allowed to work for more than one company and raised questions on the quality of vetting process of the drivers done by these multinational companies
The Indriver have since responded on her tweet and said We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Please know that we are currently conducting an internal investigation. We assure you that we are committed to resolving this as soon as possible.
