Job Purpose and Key responsibilities
1. Drive the Commercial Director and her guests to approved destinations in a safe and timely manner
2. Undertake routine and preventive maintenance of the Commercial Director’s official vehicle.
3. Detect and report malfunctioning of vehicle systems
4. Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary
5. Assist in carrying out miscellaneous errands for the Commercial Director such as paying bills.
6. Assist in any other administrative work while at the office
7. Ensure security and safety of vehicle on and off the road.
8. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Working relationships
Internal Relationships:
The Driver will be;
• Be accountable to the Group Commercial Director
Liaise and work closely with the Executive Assistant as may be necessary.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate external parties.
External Relationships;
• Guests of the Group Commercial Director
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
1. Minimum of an O level certificate
2. Minimum seven (7) years relevant experience driving VIPs.
3. Trade Test Certificate in Motor-Vehicle Maintenance.
4. Clean and valid Driving License Class B, C, and E.
5. Valid certificate of good conduct.
