British rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly is facing two additional charges of sexual assault stemming from an alleged attack during his 2024 tour of Australia. The charges are unrelated to his original charges in October 2024.
The 29-year-old, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, appeared in Perth District Court as the new charges were filed, the BBC reports. He is now accused of six counts of sexual penetration without consent, along with three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of strangulation.
The alleged offences took place on 28 September 2024 while Barrientos was touring in Perth. Court documents state the victim, a woman in her 20s, was assaulted in a hotel room after one of his shows in the suburb of Hillarys.
Yung Filly to face trial in Australia
Barrientos has been on bail since October 2024 and has pleaded not guilty to the original charges. No plea has yet been entered for the two latest counts.
In a separate incident, Barrientos admitted to reckless driving after being clocked at over 96mph on Roe Highway in November. He was formally charged in December 2024.
After a hearing in March, he responded to press, simply saying, “Good afternoon. Enjoy the weather man, it’s a lovely day!”
Known for his role in YouTube’s Beta Squad, he frequently collaborated with fellow YouTuber Chunkz. Yung Filly has also featured on Celebrity Bake Off and hosted BBC Three programs. His 10-day trial is set to begin on July 20, 2026.
