England sealed top spot in the Euro 2024 group with a forgettable goalless draw against Slovenia on Tuesday evening.
The result moved Gareth Southgate’s side into the favourable half of the draw, avoiding hosts Germany, France, Spain and Portugal.
The Three Lions had to wait to find out their last sixteen opponents as the winners of Group C faced one of the four best third-placed teams in the competition.
England will face the third-placed team from either Group D or Group E.
The Netherlands was confirmed as the third-placed team in Group D on Tuesday.

The Netherlands are one of five teams that England could face in the last 16 on Sunday evening
Ronald Koeman’s side dropped to third place in their group after a 3-2 defeat to group winners Austria, while France finished second after a 1-1 draw with Poland.
The Dutch national team is the likely opponent of England, but could also play against one of the four teams from Group E.
Romania, Belgium, Slovakia and Ukraine are all vying for qualification from the group, with the quartet heading into the final group matches with three points.
Group E concludes on Wednesday afternoon, but England will have to wait until the final round matches conclude in the evening to find out their opponents as events in Group F could have a major impact.
Should the Czech Republic beat Turkey or Georgia pull off a stunning victory over Portugal, Hungary would be eliminated from the competition.
Hungary are currently bottom of the third-placed teams after finishing with two points in Group A.
With Portugal and Turkey already on six and three points in Group F, a win for the Czech Republic or Georgia would see Hungary’s points total be eclipsed by the country ultimately finishing third.
In this event, England would face the third team in Group E, instead of the Netherlands.
