A Westfield has been put on lockdown following reports of a gunman in the area.
Westfield Marion in Adelaide, South Australia, was evacuated after an armed man was spotted in the David Jones store.
One customer claimed the incident occurred on the second floor of the store and saw a security guard running up the escalator from the first floor.
“The staff was great, but people were definitely panicking and running for all the exits,” they said.
Movies showing at a nearby cinema were immediately halted and patrons were evacuated.
