Wanda Nara has announced that she has finally ended her tumultuous relationship with Galatasaray striker Mauro Icardi.
Nara, 37, married Icardi, 31, in May 2014, less than a year after she split from former teammate Maxi Lopez.
Nara and Icardi’s relationship has hardly been in the news since then. The couple broke up several times, but then got back together.
But Nara, a model who also acted as Icardi’s agent, has now confirmed that they have finally split.
She told America TV: ‘For personal and health reasons I tried again, but it didn’t work. Let everyone talk. I saved my silence for last.

They celebrated their 10th anniversary in May, but Nara has now reportedly filed for divorce
“I know how hard endings are and what they cost. There are things on TV and the internet that aren’t true, but I accept it as part of the bad and who I am.
“I have decided to end it, but Mauro and I will still be a family. It was not a mistake to try more when there was love. I do not regret anything; these years were the best of my life, but now I have to be alone.
“There is no villain or third party; our relationship has always been stronger than it appeared from the outside. My priority has always been my children, and now more than ever. Thank you for your respect.”
According to Ciudad Magazine via Daily SabahNara filed for divorce after thinking about it for some time.
Rumors of a rift between the couple have surfaced in recent weeks after Nara unfollowed Icardi on social media.
Icardi still follows Nara, but their relationship seems to be over now. They have two children – Francesca, 9, and Isabella, 7.
This isn’t the first time Nara has claimed her marriage to Icardi is over. She made the same claim in September 2022, but they eventually reconciled.
Icardi also wrote an emotional message to his wife the year before, after Nara took him back following accusations of cheating against the striker.

Icardi and Nara have tried to present a united front over the years, regularly posting photos of themselves together on Instagram.
Former Italy defender Daniele Adani once claimed during an appearance on Christian Vieiri’s Twitch channel that the pair have sex up to 12 times a day. They have pushed the boundaries by posting racy material online.
In April, they risked an Instagram ban when they posted a video of themselves naked in the shower together.
But their passionate relationship is now over, Nara says, and reports that she has filed for divorce indicate she is very serious about it this time.
