Trump shares bloodcurdling vision of what he thinks Kamala will do to US if she’s elected president

Donald Trump has made a dire prediction about what Kamala Harris would do if she defeats him in November.

The former president railed against X, writing: “If you think things are expensive now, they will be 100 times WORSE if Kamala becomes president for four years.

‘Kamala will implement SOVIET style price controls according to her plan. She will abolish private health care and make California’s ridiculous tax policy law, which means EVERY American will be taxed up to 80% of their income! If you want more MONEY and less TAXES, VOTE FOR TRUMP!!!’

About ten days ago, Vice President Harris’ campaign unveiled a plan to ban federal price gouging. It’s a controversial policy that has drawn opposition from some economists who warned that such a policy would not lower food costs.

Economist Jason Furman, who served in the Obama administration, told the Washington Post that this could lead to “bigger shortages, less supply and ultimately higher prices and worse outcomes for consumers” if it is actually enforced.

During her remarks, Harris said food prices remain too high. She argued that as president she would “go after the bad guys” and claimed that competition is “the lifeblood of our economy.”

But when she wanted to announce the anti-gauging measure, the vice president mispronounced the word “woeging” instead of “gauging.”

“My plan includes new penalties for opportunistic companies that exploit crises and break the rules. We will also support smaller food companies that try to play by the rules and make progress,” she said.

Harris praised some of the policies implemented during the Biden administration, saying the U.S. economy has come a long way since the president took office during the coronavirus pandemic with record job creation. But she acknowledged that prices are still too high.

Ahead of her remarks, Republicans criticized the vice president for her economic agenda during a call with reporters, accusing her of copying Trump’s proposals and criticizing other priorities, saying they made “no sense.”

Republicans point to the inflation rates under the Trump administration compared to the Biden administration, blaming the high prices on the current administration’s policies rather than supply chain challenges and shortages caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump, the former president and 2024 Republican presidential candidate, only returned to the social media platform now owned by Elon Musk two weeks ago.

He was banned from Twitter following the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The two and a half minute commercial was very well produced and featured scenes from Trump’s 2017 inauguration.

There were also news clips from the 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tearing up Trump’s 2020 State of the Union address.

The ad showed Trump triumphantly launching into an Ultimate Fighting Championship match with CEO Dana White, who introduced the GOP candidate at the Republican Party convention last month.

In a follow-up message, the former president asked, “Are you doing better now than when I was president?”

Musk, who is also CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, supported Trump on the day the former president was shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“This is unscripted and has no restrictions on subject matter, so it should be highly entertaining!” Musk wrote on X Sunday, previewing the interview with Trump.

Trump has stayed away from X in order to draw his supporters to his own social media platform, Truth Social.
