Trump reveals if he will debate Kamala Harris and claims Biden and Obama HATE each other after stunning Democratic ‘coup’

Donald Trump said he will “probably” debate Kamala Harris and criticized Democrats for what he called a “coup” to replace Joe Biden.

Harris accuses Trump and his campaign of backtracking on the presidential debate scheduled for September 10 on ABC.

Although Trump’s campaign previously indicated that they still want to know whether Harris is actually the nominee, given the speed with which Democrats replaced Biden, he admitted that he will likely debate Harris.

“I want to have a debate, but I can also say this: everyone knows who I am and now people know who she is,” he said. “She is a radical leftist lunatic, she will destroy our country.”

When asked why he didn’t release that information on the debate stage, Trump said “everybody already knows it.”

Fox News’ Laura Ingraham suggested that Democrats might say he’s “afraid” to debate.

He then repeated his previous debate successes from 2016 and 2020, after which he revealed some of his terms.

“The answer is yes, I will probably end up debating. I think the debates should take place before the votes are cast.”

He said his second debate against Biden had gone great, but that too many votes had already been cast.

“So the answer is yes, but I can also make an argument why we shouldn’t do it,” Trump added.

Trump does not necessarily want to abide by the terms of the debate as originally set out because he does not want ABC News to profit from it.

“I don’t like rewarding fake news. They’re going to make tens of millions of dollars off of this debate. I don’t like ABC ‘getting rich,’” before naming his frequent target, anchor George Stephanopoulos, whom he calls “Slopadopoulos.”

Trump praised CNN and Jake Tapper, saying they had been “very honest” with him during the first debate with Biden in June.

Trump does not want to adhere to the terms of the debate as originally set because he does not want ABC News to profit from it, after saying CNN had been “very honest” with him during the June 27 debate.

He then revealed that the CNN debate “maybe” was a mistake, claiming he beat Biden so badly that “that was the end of him.”

‘You could see that he wouldn’t make it anymore. Now we have [Harris]I’d rather fight her.

In a statement on Monday, Harris’ campaign said she will attend a Sept. 10 debate hosted by ABC that Trump and Biden had previously agreed to.

“The American people deserve to hear from the two candidates running for the highest office in the land, and that will happen during the ABC debate in September,” they said.

“If Donald Trump and his team say anything other than ‘we’ll see you there,’ — and it looks like they will — it’s a convenient but expected retreat from Team Trump. Vice President Harris will be there on September 10th — we’ll see if Trump shows up.”

At one point last week, Trump said he was ready and willing to take on Harris in a debate after she was appointed as his new opponent.

At a press conference on Tuesday, he dismissed Harris’ campaigning credentials and said he would be willing to debate her more than once.

“I would like to,” he said. “I think it’s important.

Trump too reiterated his recent claim that Joe Biden and his former boss Barack Obama do not like each other and that his predecessor staged a coup against Biden.

‘That was a coup on an American president. Obama doesn’t like it [Biden] and he doesn’t like Obama.’

Trump then said he believed recent reporting suggesting Biden was being threatened with the 25th Amendment and his removal from office.

“That’s what happened, we do it the easy way or the hard way.”

Trump also went into detail about his wife Melania’s experience with the recent assassination attempt on the former president.

This comes as Harris has recently received a boost in the polls in a “honeymoon” phase after replacing Biden on the ticket.

Harris’ approval rating among Americans reached 43 percent in late July, up from 35 percent before Biden dropped out of the race, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll.

Her unfavorable rating was 42 percent, down from 46 percent before Biden withdrew.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is also co-chair of Harris’ campaign, provided more clarity on the timetable by which Harris is expected to choose a running mate.

“Everything’s been cut short and she’s going to make that decision probably in the next six, seven days,” Harris said. “I think we’ll know who her running mate is by then.”

This comes as the Democratic National Convention takes place later next month, but Democrats have an August 7 deadline to nominate their candidates to ensure they get on the ballot in every state.
