Travis Kelce had a moment to forget for the Kansas City Chiefs as girlfriend Taylor Swift watched their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the stands.
Just before halftime at Arrowhead Stadium, Kelce received the ball from Patrick Mahomes just in front of the Bucs’ 45-yard line before being tackled by safety Tykee Smith.
The Chiefs tight end was unable to keep hold of the ball after dispatching Smith’s challenge, but instead fumbled it and allowed Tampa Bay to regain possession.
If he hadn’t, Kansas City would have gained about six yards to leave them on 3rd and 4 with 55 seconds left of the half.
It proved a huge blow for the hosts and an embarrassing moment for Kelce, who was left red-faced as Swift watched from her private suite.

Swift, who skipped Kamala Harris’ final election rally in Pennsylvania to attend the game, waltzed into Arrowhead earlier in the evening in a black, red and gold leather Chiefs jacket to confirm she’s choosing her boyfriend over the presidential candidate.
Many had speculated that the pop megastar would appear at the rally on Monday night to boost support for Harris and the Democrats ahead of Tuesday’s all-important election.
That was before reports surfaced Sunday claiming she was not listed to perform as musical guest in Pennsylvania, meaning she would not be in attendance as Kelce and the Chiefs faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that same night.
And as expected, Swift arrived at the game about an hour before kickoff, after shaking off Harris to cheer her husband on from the stands.
