Tori Spelling says she’s considering creating an OnlyFans account to help pay for college for her five children.

The 51-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alumna spoke about her spelling mistake podcast Wednesday about her potential business plans, welcoming William Shatner, 93, as a guest on the program.

Spelling, who played Donna Martin on the Fox series in the 1990s, is the mother of five children with ex-husband Dean McDermott, 57: Liam Aaron, 17, Stella Doreen, 16, Hattie Margaret, 12, Finn Davey, 11, and Beau Dean, seven.

While discussing her co-parenting with McDermott, Shatner mentions that her children will be attending college in a few years.

“So you have a lot of kids that are going to go to school or college and they’re going to end up there. I can tell you that’s extraordinary. I mean, it’s just insane,” Shatner told Spelling.

Spelling responded, “I’m going to have to go to OnlyFans to get them into college.”

When asked what Shatner’s OnlyFans is, Spelling responded, “How would you describe OnlyFans?

‘OnlyFans is a site, I think. Originally it was mostly women in the business, not sex workers, but now actresses are doing it.’

Shatner asked Spelling for clarification about the content offered on the paid service.

“When you say no sex workers, but in that sense, they are or they’re not,” Shatner said. “They are or they’re not. They are, they’re looking for sexual adventures — yes?”

Spelling noted that OnlyFans has “transformed” as a platform for content creators across multiple fields.

She said, ‘Now there are comedians and chefs on there, and there are videos and people pay for it, you can subscribe, but a lot of actresses are doing it now and they’re showing things.

When Shatner asked if artists upload clips that “show everything,” Spelling said, “If you want to, if you want to.”

Spelling said content creators can get paid for their work on OnlyFans in a variety of ways, such as “credit card, Zelle, cash app, Venmo, PayPal.”

Spelling explained to Shatner the technical aspects of linking a credit card or similar payment method to the app.

Spelling revealed her interest in the platform in January 2023 while appearing on Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM. She said she subscribed to an account set up by her friend, actress Denise Richards.

Spelling said she logged into Richards’ account under a false name and spent about $400 in two days.

“I was just fascinated by OnlyFans, and I’m not going to lie, I was like, ‘Let me check it out — what’s in it?’” Spelling said. “So I looked into it, and of course it shows something, and unless you subscribe, you can’t get it.

‘So of course I signed up under a fake name. It’s fascinating because they’re like, “Hey, we might show you this in this shower.” And I just want to see it. It’s my girlfriend. Like, “Hey, how far does she go?”‘

She continued, “They say if you tip them, they’ll respond faster. So I was like, ‘Hey, I love what I see. I’d like to see more.’ I ended up spending $400 in two days. I couldn’t stop. So I kept tipping her — but I didn’t want her to know it was me in the DMs.”

Spelling’s potential move to OnlyFans comes after she has faced much-publicized financial troubles in recent years, including staying in cheap hotels and RV parks in Ventura County, California, due to money problems.

A source told DailyMail.com last year that Spelling was having “money problems” and was therefore keen to return to the reality TV genre.

“Tori is kind of in a bind right now as she tries to figure out what her next job is going to be,” the source said. “She’s considering doing more in the reality competition world.”

Her financial problems are a stark contrast to the luxury Spelling grew up in in Hollywood. Her late father Aaron Spelling produced successful series such as Dynasty, Charlie’s Angels and The Love Boat, as well as Melrose Place, Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Aaron Spelling died in June 2006, leaving behind a $500 million empire, while Tori left an $800,000 inheritance.

Tori has had a complicated relationship with her mother Candy Spelling for years.

Tori made headlines in 2005 for her extramarital affair with McDermott, while they were both married; she to Charlie Shahnaian and McDermott to Mary Jo Eustace. She and McDermott married in Fiji in May 2006, just a month before Aaron died.

In her 2008 book sTORI Telling, Tori wrote that her family was disappointed that she ran off with McDermott.

Candy spoke about the deep family rift in an interview with 94.7 WMAS-FM in 2009. She made it clear that she was angry about Tori’s actions in the period leading up to Aaron’s death.

“My daughter decided one day that she wasn’t going to talk to my husband, me, or my son anymore, and that’s how it went on for the last, oh my, four or five years,” Candy said. “And it was sad. That’s what actually killed my husband. He just didn’t want to live after that.”

Candy published an open letter in 2009 in which she said that she and Tori had not spoken in years and that she had still not been introduced to her granddaughter Stella, who was one year old at the time.

“You haven’t responded to my emails, phone calls, and texts,” Candy said. “You say you look at my website, so I’m trying to reach you that way. I want to see you and your family – in private, like the ‘normal family’ you say [you] always wanted.’

Tori said in an interview with People at the time that she and Candy “just never got along,” but that there was no feud and that Tori was fine with Candy seeing her grandchildren.

“I haven’t excluded her in any way,” Tori said. “She can make the effort if she wants to be present in their lives. She knows how to reach me, she knows where we live. If she wants to see her grandchildren, she has to make the effort to reach out to them and see them.”

The mother and daughter have slowly but surely gotten on good terms, with Tori saying on Jeff Lewis Live in October 2022 that she and her mother “text every day.”
