The Voice Australia’s biggest divas have been revealed after the judging panel underwent a major overhaul.
LeAnn Rimes, Kate Miller Heidke and Adam Lambert have joined series veteran Guy Sebastian for the 2024 series, after Guy Sebastian, Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy were fired.
Now a huge bombshell has been dropped over which of the new celebrity singing coaches pulled off the most ‘diva antics’ during the panel.
After losing a number of big names to the reshuffle, Kate, 42, and Adam, 42, are now being accused of being the main culprits of their diva tactics.
As the new season of the singing competition kicks off on Channel Seven, an insider revealed Yahoo Lifestyle: ‘There were diva moments on set that we hadn’t seen before in the Australian format.’
They also claimed that Kate and Adam clashed several times during filming, with their diva-like antics clearly visible.
“Everyone noticed during the presentations of the new coaches that there was a real competitive spirit that was becoming increasingly apparent,” the insider continued.
‘The divas Kate Miller-Heidke and Adam Lambert had become indispensable to the editing.’

Another insider close to the series recently claimed that Kate’s highly competitive style towards her fellow actors is being used by producers to ‘create’ drama.
According to a source, real tension arose between the usually mild-mannered Guy and his fellow filmmaker Kate during filming.
“By bringing in two Americans like Adam and LeAnn, the producers thought there would be a battle of the countries – the US versus Australia – but the tension is between Guy and Kate, who really wanted to outdo each other in their coaching,” a source said. Now to love.
‘They are definitely each other’s biggest rivals and the other two [Adam and LeAnn] “I really don’t believe in that drama.”
The insider claimed that ‘the producers didn’t anticipate that two personalities like Guy and Kate would cause so much tension’.
Channel Seven is reportedly paying handsomely for the star cast after their salaries were leaked earlier this week.
A source told Yahoo earlier this week that Adam and LeAnn are raking in the most money and are “expected to receive between $750,000 and $1.2 million.”

Australian Kate is also believed to be paid more than $500,000, while Guy started out at $750,000 per season in 2019 but is now estimated to be worth around $1 million.
However, the staggering sums are said to be ‘significantly lower’ than the incomes of coaches Rita and Jason, with Jessica reportedly on a lower pay scale.
According to a production insider, the reason for the change was the star’s salary and the producers’ desire to keep costs down.
The insider added that salary increases are needed to keep returning stars on the show and that the price tags for the former celebrities are “too expensive.”
“The company claimed that Jessica, Rita and Jason were all too busy, but I don’t think anyone is too busy to be collecting these kinds of salaries,” they claimed.
“It definitely had to do with keeping costs down.”
Last year it was decided to replace almost the entire coaching panel and the casting team reportedly searched for quite some time before finding the perfect candidates for the role.
