The staggering amount that Snoop Dogg is being paid at the Olympic Games is ‘REVEALED’ – as NBC rewards rapper lavishly amid huge viewership surge and viral moments

Reports have leaked about the astonishing amount of money Snoop Dogg is being paid to broadcast with NBC during the Olympics.

Snoop was everywhere during the Olympics: we saw him in full equestrian gear doing dressage, taking swimming lessons from Michael Phelps, and serving as a rugby analyst, among other activities.

The creator of ‘Gin & Juice’ is supporting Team USA and has a deal with NBC to provide content and commentary during the Games.

According to NBC, 35.4 million people watched the series on the middle Sunday, more than double the number on the same day during the Tokyo Olympics. Snoop was a hit with the fans.

Now two reports provide insight into his staggering income, which would make any sports star jealous.

Henry McNamaraone of the most influential young entrepreneurs in the world according to Forbes, claimed to have heard from an NBC executive that Snoop earns £393,000 ($500,000) a day – plus expenses, if that wasn’t enough.

Meanwhile German outlet Image is said to have heard from an NBC employee that he could earn up to £11.78 million ($15 million) during the Games, with a ratings bonus included in his contract.

It’s a huge leap for NBC, which in 2014 signed a £4.5bn broadcasting deal with the International Olympic Committee through 2032.

That said, Snoop isn’t entirely new to the game. Three years ago in Tokyo, he and comedian Kevin Hart did commentary on Peacock, exclusively for streaming.

According to Molly Solomon, NBC’s executive producer and president of Olympic production, his coverage of the 2021 Olympics generated “tens of millions of views” for NBC.

“That performance alone has earned Snoop a job as our Special Correspondent in Paris. We don’t know what will happen every day, but we know he will bring his unique perspective to our reimagined Olympic primetime show,” Solomon said.

He has already been at the center of countless viral moments.

The music icon responded in stunning fashion to Simone Biles’ qualifying performance in the women’s gymnastics.

According to a report, he earns almost £400,000 a day, while Bild claims he could pocket a total of £11.78 million from bonuses

Under his American flag jacket, Snoop Dogg wore a T-shirt with the face of gymnastics legend Simone Biles on it.

Snoop Dogg was impressed with Biles’ performance and a hilarious photo was taken of him putting on his sunglasses and opening his eyes wide.

He was also one of the Olympic Games torchbearers during a short run around the Stade de France.

But viewers who saw Snoop — real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr — immediately thought of something else associated with the rapper when one end was lit: a wavy weed joint.

This sparked a wave of memes on social media, with pranksters manipulating images to swap the flashlight for an oversized joint. One cartoonist even drew a picture of Snoop taking a drag from the flashlight.

On Monday, he performed on stage — performing songs like “Drop it Like It’s Hot” — for the U.S. basketball teams and several celebrities in “A Celebration of Olympic Basketball.”

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Team USA basketball, LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony were among those in attendance.
