Tayla Damir suffered a nasty fall down the stairs on Friday, sustaining a painful injury to her back.

The popular AFL WAG, 27, posted a photo on Instagram of the damage done, lifting her shirt to reveal a graze along her spine and the beginnings of a large bruise.

In the caption of the painful-looking photo, the former Love Island star, who is married to footballer Nathan Broad, says she injured her “hips, tailbone, ribs and spine”.

Tayla’s first post about the incident included a photo of a heated hip belt she had just received as a PR package, just before she fell down the stairs.

“The timing of this is perfect. My period just treated me and I fell down the stairs and landed on my back half an hour ago. Let’s see how good this is,” she said.

The next image she shared to her Stories showed the extent of her back injury: “This is what it looks like when you fall down the stairs.

‘RIP my hips, tailbone, ribs and spine. The pain is worse than ever and I have the Myer Ball tonight. If you see me limping, this is why.’

Ny Breaking Australia has reached out to Tayla for comment.

It’s only a few months after Tayla received a very unexpected medical diagnosis during a doctor’s visit.

The former reality star shared on Instagram in May that she recently made a doctor’s appointment after developing blisters on her hands.

Tayla, who lives in Melbourne, said she was shocked to learn she had suffered “mild frostbite” after pushing her daughter Samara’s pram without gloves on.

She shared the surprising news, writing, “Lol I’m so embarrassed of myself. I woke up a few days ago with blisters all over my hands so I made an appointment with my doctor.

‘Turns out I’ve given myself a mild case of frostbite. I keep my hands on the stroller without any protection during my early morning walks, which leaves them frozen.

‘I have to wear gloves for a few weeks until it calms down hahaha.’

Frostbite is an injury caused by freezing of the skin and underlying tissue. In the early stages it is also called ‘frostnip’.

Tayla has a nine-month-old daughter, Samara, with her 31-year-old AFL star husband Nathan, whom she married in October 2022.
