“The three-mile jog back to Surfers Paradise was fueled by my excitement that my children were about to build their own holiday memories in the place where I forged mine,” she wrote.

The media personality also emphasized the need to strike a balance between children’s fun and parents’ relaxation.

“Successful family vacations depend on a little quid pro quo,” she admitted.

‘We all know that the balance is heavily tilted in favor of those most likely to throw a tantrum, but we, as mothers and fathers, have to take the victories where we can get them.’

Last August, Sylvia revealed that despite her booming career, family is her number one priority.

The Today show star told The Daily Telegraph that she always makes time for her two young sons.

“I don’t take it for granted that I can find quite a bit of balance in my life in that area,” says the beauty.
