A Subaru vehicle veered off the road and overturned in a grassy area along the Kaset-Nawamin Road. Police are actively searching for the driver, questioning whether alcohol might have been involved. The incident was reported at 3.35am today to the Khok Kram Police Station.

The accident occurred on Prasert Manukit Road (Kaset-Nawamin) inbound, heading towards the Kasetsart intersection in the Chorakhe Bua subdistrict, Lat Phrao district, Bangkok. Police, along with volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, arrived at the scene to find the Subaru, registered in Bangkok, overturned in the grass beside the road.

A thorough search of the area revealed no driver or witnesses. Consequently, officials coordinated with a towing service to remove the vehicle and store it at Khok Kram Police Station.

The police are checking around nearby hospitals to determine if anyone was admitted with injuries that could suggest they were involved in the incident. Additionally, they are examining the vehicle’s registration to contact the owner and arrange for the car’s retrieval, reported KhaoSod.

The driver’s identity remains unknown, as does whether they were under the influence of alcohol. Should evidence emerge indicating the driver was intoxicated and their blood alcohol level exceeded legal limits, legal action will ensue.
