Sir Mick Jagger and his partner Melanie Hamrick put on a lively show at Louis Vuitton’s Prelude To The Olympics 2024 in Paris on Thursday.

The 80-year-old Mick pulled funny faces and extended his hand theatrically as he walked across the event’s dark green carpet.

He wore a black suit with a floral motif and combined it with a white shirt that he wore open, without a tie.

Mick’s pants were tight and he put his arm around Melanie, 37, who was wearing a sleeveless black dress.

The elegant dress for mothers of one featured gold detailing that finished the hem at the bottom and sides.

Spanish singer Rosalia and her boyfriend Jeremy Allen White also attended the Louis Vuitton star event.

Other big names in attendance included Serena Williams and actresses Zendaya and Charlize Theron.

The event takes place after Mick Jagger and the rest of The Rolling Stones conclude their Hackney Diamonds Tour in Missouri.

Hackney Diamonds were promoting their 2023 studio album Hackney Diamonds, their first studio album of original material in almost 20 years.

During their tour, The Rolling Stones were accused of “going woke” after dropping Brown Sugar from their setlist.

The song is controversial because of the way it portrays slavery as a prohibition against having a sexual relationship with a black woman.

Shortly after, the Rolling Stones also released lyrics about presidential assassinations in one of their most popular hits, following the attempt to assassinate second-term presidential candidate Donald Trump earlier this month.

In the 1968 Stones classic Sympathy for the Devil, the band’s frontman Mick sings: “I shouted, ‘Who killed the Kennedys?’ Well, it was you and me after all.”

But when he performed the song at the final three concerts of their Hackney Diamonds US tour, all of which took place after the July 13 shooting of Trump, the lyrics were noticeably missing.

Instead, Mick completely omitted the third verse of the infamous song, which he performed live in Los Angeles, Santa Clara, California, and Ridgedale, Missouri, and omitted the entire verse referring to the Kennedy assassination.

Instead of the third verse, Stones guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood play an instrumental break.

The original lyrics, written in 1968, asked the question ‘who killed John Kennedy?’, but Jagger multiplied the lyric after the assassination of JFK’s brother Robert F. Kennedy.
