Shock twist as Home and Away star announces pregnancy with former lover

Home and Away fans have shared their wild theories about a twist involving two popular characters from the show.

The story revolves around the character Harper, played by Jessica Redmayne, who is pregnant with Tane, played by actor Ethan Browne.

Photos taken recently on set show Jessica sporting a ‘baby bump’ while filming scenes in Palm Beach, NSW.

However, fans claim that a pregnancy is “usually” a sign that a character will soon be leaving the series.

‘Tane, Dana and Harper – yeah, she’s still filming [while visibly] pregnant. We’ll find out in five to six months,’ one fan posted on the Home and Away Spoilers and Gossip Facebook page.

“It’s crazy that they’re dragging out Harper’s pregnancy longer than the other characters’ pregnancies.”

We will know someday [characters] have a baby, they normally leave the show. Harper has two years left [on her] contract expired I believe, and Tane – he often signs new contracts because his three-year contract is already up, so I’m not sure when he’s going to leave!’

The fan then explained that ‘baby characters’ are expensive for producers, as it takes up to four ‘baby actors’ to ‘play’ a single character.

This is due to the strict rules surrounding filming babies.

More evidence was also shared on the Home and Away Spoilers and Gossip fan page, which showed Harper on set.

The clip, which was filmed by CelebTime, shows characters Tane, Dana, Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and Mali (Kyle Shilling) having a drink and ‘partying’.

“Looks like the baby has been born,” they posted.

‘Video from last week’s filming shows Tane, Mac, Dana and Mali having a party [the] Salt balcony.

“Bad sound, but I did hear something like, ‘Dana was there,’” Tane said as he was leaving that he was going to Harper. The recording time would be about right for [a] Birth in February.

This came after Home and Away fans were left in shock when popular character Felicity Newman, played by Jacqui Purvis, died in the series.

After leaving fans in tears following her character’s death, the 33-year-old actress has broken her silence on her heartbreaking final episodes.

The Australian star, who hopes to make it in Hollywood, posted a touching tribute to her fans and the show that made her famous on Instagram on Tuesday.

“What a life! Thank you @homeandaway for an incredible 3 years. We had a blast,” she wrote alongside a montage of her behind-the-scenes antics.

Jacqui’s final scenes aired last week, as Felicity’s brother Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) made the heartbreaking decision to turn her off life support.

The soap star told Yahoo Lifestyle on Tuesday, “I’ve had an incredible time on the show. Some of the best years of my life.

‘However, I knew I wanted an international career so I had to make the decision to leave and take the plunge.

‘I owe so much to the show, [and] ‘It makes me feel confident and ready to enter the international stage.’

Jacqui plans to move to Hollywood soon to become world famous, following in the footsteps of former soap stars Chris Hemsworth, Isla Fisher and Samara Weaving.
