Sabrina Carpenter spills all on falling in love following claims pop star has dumped Barry Keoghan after ‘growing frustrated by his drunken partying’

Sabrina Carpenter has spoken candidly about her tendency to fall in love quickly following her split from Barry Keoghan.

The 25-year-old Espresso star was a guest on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date on Friday and shared how she falls in love.

While Amelia asked, “Do you fall in love easily?” Sabrina joked, “What kind of question, you asking me here in this chicken shop?”

She continued: ‘When I was younger, I fell in love really easily and now I fall in love a little bit more… I don’t want this to sound sad, but maybe I just fall in love with a little bit more knowledge.’

“Yes, because you have more experience,” Amelia replied, while Sabrina teased her, “That’s what they say.”

The singer appeared to be referring to her recent relationship with the 31-year-old Saltburn star, after the pair made their first official red carpet debut as a couple at the Met Gala in May.

The couple first met in September last year at PFW and were spotted on a date a few months later.

However, now the couple have reportedly split after Sabrina dumped Barry almost three weeks ago, due to the Irish star’s wild partying and acting like an ‘idiot’ when drunk.

A source said The sun about their alleged breakup: ‘Barry acts like an idiot when he’s drunk and Sabrina was getting more and more frustrated.’

“He’s always been a party animal and Sabrina got tired of his antics. She’s climbing the charts and putting herself first as she prepares for her tour next month.”

MailOnline has contacted Barry and Sabrina’s representatives for comment.

According to PEOPLE Their relationship has been ‘on and off’ since the Espresso hitmaker failed to define their relationship in an interview earlier this year.

When Rolling Stone asked her if she called Barry her boyfriend, she replied, “How can I avoid the question?”

‘The [dating] pool is the pool, and when you meet people who feel authentic and are so brilliant and wonderful in every way, that’s what you do. Obviously I write songs about exactly how I feel, so I guess I can’t be too surprised that people are interested in who and what those songs are about.’

She concluded: ‘That’s something that comes with this profession.’

Sabrina released her new album Short n’ Sweet on Friday and her racy new song Taste was performed to much fanfare.

The music video, which features her sharing a steamy kiss with Jenna Ortega, has racked up more than 1.5 million views on YouTube in just three hours.

Meanwhile, the lyrics tell a story that may shed light on Sabrina’s own love life, as they reveal racy details about an ex-boyfriend.

Although she doesn’t name a specific man in the lyrics of Taste, she tells a juicy story about an ex who got back together with a former flame.

Jenna, 21, and Sabrina are pictured fighting over a man, played by Rohan Campbell, who starred in Halloween Ends.

The rival girlfriends tear each other apart in the madcap pulp video, which was apparently inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino.
