Ryan Gosling and his wife Eva Mendes surprised the small London borough of Clapham over the weekend after being spotted at the Michelin-starred Trinity restaurant on the edge of the busy borough on Sunday.
Trinity is a favourite of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and was no doubt recommended to Gosling by his Barbie co-star Margot Robbie, who has been spotted there on several occasions.
The stars enjoyed the sunshine and the award-winning menu, which featured a range of Mediterranean dishes with a touch of Asian influence, costing up to £28.
The 43-year-old Fall Guy star is in the UK filming her new film Hail Mail, which co-stars Sandra Huller (Anatomy of a Fall).
Gosling is said to be in the UK to film a new film, Project Hail Mary, in which he plays Ryland Grace, a science teacher turned astronaut.

In early August, he sparked rumours that he and his family were planning to move to London after he was ‘spotted house hunting’ in Barnes.
The 43-year-old actor appeared to be on a mission as he viewed luxury properties in southwest London.
A source said: ‘Ryan and Eva would certainly add an A-list element to an already affluent neighbourhood.
‘The couple have several property contacts who they use to find the perfect place, and they have a budget of more than £10 million.’
A spokesperson later confirmed to MailOnline that Ryan is not moving to the area.

This comes after Ryan explained that he filled his role in the Netflix series The Gray Man in order to spend time with his children and take them to new destinations.
He added that his role as Ken in the Barbie film was partly inspired by his children, as it allowed him to introduce his work to them.
In an interview with Heat Magazine, he said, “I’m kind of a father first, and that’s one of the reasons I did this movie. [The Gray Man] this was the opportunity for us to go to these interesting places and be there with my children.’
