Revealed: The X-rated gift Tom Daley gave to his Olympic diving partner Noah Williams for his 21st birthday – as the duo clinch silver in Paris

Tom Daley claimed his fifth Olympic medal on Sunday when he and diving partner Noah Williams won silver in the 10-meter synchro platform in Paris.

It was a momentous occasion for both divers, with Daley cementing himself as one of Team GB’s most decorated athletes, having won bronze at London 2012 and Rio 2016, before taking a further bronze and gold at Tokyo 2020.

There had been speculation that Daley, 30, could retire after winning gold in Tokyo, but he was selected to partner Williams, 24, in Paris after a hiatus from the sport. This came after Daley’s partner Matty Lee was ruled out of this year’s Games following back surgery.

Since they started partnering, Daley and Williams have become good friends, with Williams saying he gave his Olympic diving partner an X-rated gift for his 21st birthday.

During their preparation for the games, Daley had posted a Q&A with himself and Williams on his website YouTube channel where he revealed the cheeky gift he gave to his diving partner.

“It was his 21st birthday, we’re in the middle of Budapest. I was like, ‘What am I going to get him for his birthday?’” Daley said during the video.

‘You know what, I’ve got the yarn, I’ve got a crochet book, so I’m going to make a C**k sock. I’m actually going by the one-size-fits-most rule.’

Williams continued: “The other part of the question is, are you surprised that I’ve worn it a few times already?”

“No, I’m not,” Daley responded, before joking, “I believe you actually posted a picture on OnlyFans.”

“It’s nice that they’re actually being used, because usually people use them as a little novelty item that they never actually use.”

A number of Olympic divers, including Jack Laugher, have revealed that they are using OnlyFans to raise money, as track and field is the only sport where competitors receive prize money if they win.

Daley is happily married to her husband Dustin Lance Black, an American screenwriter. He was photographed at the Aquatics Centre on Sunday looking at his partner and their two children, Robbie and Phoenix.

The couple married in 2017 and in the YouTube video, Daley was also asked if Williams was his type.

“I like broad shoulders. I like a swimmer’s body,” he said, listing the features of his partner Lance.

‘Because that’s what initially attracted me to Lance: the fact that he was so wide at the top and then narrower at the back.’

Williams, meanwhile, appeared emotional on Sunday after the pair won silver. During their interview after the medal ceremony, Williams appeared to break down in tears as he recalled the death of his former coach Dave Jenkins.

He told BBC Sport: ‘It means a lot to me, from third last to second. My coach passed away after Tokyo so I don’t want to talk too much because I’ll cry. I’m happy, I’m happy.’

And when asked how Jenkins would have viewed his performance, Williams replied, “Probably pretty proud. Would you talk for me?”

Jenkins sadly passed away in October 2021. The impact on Williams was so great that he considered quitting the sport.

Daley said, “I’ve never seen Noah cry in my entire life, and I know how much this means to him.

‘Dave played a major role in Noah’s diving success and career, it is very sad that he will not be able to experience this anymore.

“But I know Dave and my dad would be very proud if we did such a good job and won a silver medal.”

Daley has also left open the possibility of competing again at a record sixth Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

I don’t know about six [Olympic Games]“But I said that last time, and now I’m back,” he said.
