Rachael Finch steps out with her two children after suffering a gruesome injury during dance class and blaming her competitive nature for the incident

Rachael Finch suffered a horrific injury during a dance rehearsal on Tuesday when her dance partner stepped on her toes, leaving them covered in blood and bruises.

And the former Miss Universe Australia winner, 35, was spotted for the first time since the incident on Wednesday.

Rachael went for an ice cream in Coogee with her kids.

The mother of two, who has eight-year-old daughter Violet and five-year-old son Dominic with her husband Michael Miziner, dressed warmly in a black Aje Athletica coat over a turtleneck.

She completed the relaxed look with leggings and a pair of gray socks.

She covered her injury with a pair of stylish sneakers and tied her brunette locks into a bun.

The fitness influencer believes she broke her toe after her dance partner accidentally stepped on her foot with full force.

In the video posted to social media, Rachael explained that she was in a lot of pain as she lay on her bed with an ice pack on her foot.

She then moved the camera closer to show her bruised and bloody toe.

“That’s why at 35, you don’t go into action sports in a competitive way like I naturally do,” she said.

“We’ll know more tomorrow, but it’s probably a broken toe. Absolute accident, we were just practicing this step and Dan was just standing back but stomped back with all his weight,” she explained.

‘His Latin heel on his shoe stamped right on my open toe.’

“I looked down and my toe was immediately bruised and blood started pouring out of it. I knew I had to get home and ice my foot right away.”
