Two people have been killed after a horror shooting incident in south-west Victoria.
The man and woman, who have yet to be formally identified, were found by a passerby on a remote hiking trail near Wreck Beach at around 10.45am on Friday.
Police rushed to the scene at Gellibrand Lower after the grim discovery.
It is believed a weapon was found at the scene Herald Sun reports.
A man who works at the Apollo Bay Hotel, about an hour’s drive from Wreck Beach, told the publication he saw first responders arrive on the scene.

“We heard the sirens and saw ambulances,” he said.
The circumstances surrounding the double fatality have yet to be determined.
Offices have cordoned off the area and a crime scene has been cordoned off.
Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this stage.
