Just days after her record-breaking victory, Keely was honoured with a mural in Stevenson Square in the Northern Quarter.

The Team GB star announced the exciting news on Instagram to her 514,000 followers on Wednesday.

Keely, who shared a carousel of snaps with others, wore a casual outfit of navy jeans and a black top, along with a small Chanel bag.

She wore her blonde hair loose and opted for natural makeup as she beamed in front of the artwork.

The mural was painted on a red shipping container and featured an illustration of Keely with the caption, “All the greats don’t stop at gold.”

The mural was commissioned by sports giant Nike and also features the band’s slogan: ‘Just Do It’.

Keely captioned the post: ‘Finally home!! And I got to see this incredible artwork by @nike + so many talented people!!

‘This has been in the works for the last 6 months!! Beautiful to see it come to fruition and be shown in my hometown!!’

After her incredible performance, Keely decided to skip the closing ceremony in Paris and enjoy a well-deserved vacation.

The gold medallist swapped her running shoes for a pair of heels and celebrated her victory in style with her family on the Costa del Sol.

No expense was spared as she dined with family and friends at the luxurious Clubhouse Marbella.

Keely had previously revealed that a family holiday was her “number one priority” after the Games, along with the opportunity to buy a beige Porsche if she won gold.

She told The Mail before the Games started: ‘I saw a really nice car on Pinterest.

“My brother said, ‘Do you know how expensive they are?’ and I said, ‘If I win the Olympics, I’m going to buy that car.’ I think it’s a Porsche Cayman. As long as it’s sporty and beige and looks nice, that’s all that matters to me.”

The runner is now set to cash in big after her recent success, thanks to her World Athletics award and a string of lucrative sponsorship deals.

And brand guru Marcel Knobil, who has worked with Coca Cola and Yamaha, said The sun: “Her estimated pre-Olympics earnings were around £250,000 thanks to companies such as Nike and Omega.

“Thanks to her exceptional talent, golden success and attractive personality and looks, Keely can look forward to earnings well over £2 million next year alone.”
