Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni appeared to become embroiled in an angry argument with his own fans on Sunday.

Eagles fans, fed up with Sirianni since last season’s late collapse, chased the team off the field despite the win against the Cleveland Browns.

The more passionate ones even started a “Fire Nick!” while those at home wondered on social media whether a coach could be fired at halftime.

The spotlight has been on Sirianni so far this season, following their humiliating collapse last year that saw them go from Super Bowl contenders to elimination in the first round of the playoffs.

The Eagles were 2-2 going into Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns and had yet to win at Lincoln Financial Field this season, but managed to get over the line with a 20-16 win.

Footage showed Sirianni taunting some of the home fans sitting behind his team’s touchline as the clock ticked down on their victory.

Despite failing to impress their fans, the Eagles managed to defeat the Browns 20–16 thanks to DeVonta Smith’s fourth-quarter touchdown.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns, including a 45-yard toss to Smith in the fourth quarter.

Hurts also threw a 22-yard touchdown to AJ Brown, who returned along with Smith after both wide receivers missed time with injuries.

Trailing 20-13, the Browns moved into Eagles territory late in the game, but settled for Dustin Hopkins’ 31-yard field goal.

The Eagles took over with 3:54 to go and didn’t let Cleveland get the ball back, with Hurts finding Brown for a 40-yard gain to put the game away.

Sirianni promised changes during the bye week and he delivered with a bold new hairstyle.

On the field, it was largely the same old Eagles, who turned running back Saquon Barkley into a bystander, failed to get Hurts to connect consistently with his star receivers, and had disappointing execution.
