Melissa Leong opens up about her recent breakup following her dramatic exit from MasterChef Australia

Former MasterChef judge Melissa Leong has opened up about her recent split with her GP [GP].

In her latest column for Stellarthe 42-year-old revealed that she had stopped seeing her regular doctor.

“I’m not bitter or anything; some things just take their own course, as you know, and I wish her the best,” she wrote.

She also urged fans to make good use of medical professionals and not skip regular checkups.

“Ignoring that little niggle that you need to get checked out is not what the doctor ordered,” Melissa continued.

“And while you’re there, don’t forget to be kind; our doctors, nurses, and administrative staff have had it tough during Covid, and they really deserve a little (or a lot) of care shown to them for everything they do.”

It comes after Melissa recently fronted the band a new three-part documentary series about Australia’s healthcare system.

The TV star appeared in the new SBS docuseries The Hospital: In The Deep End alongside Samuel Johnson and Costa Georgiadis.
