Kourtney Kardashian is looking back on her past award show looks. Even the star herself admits she’s had a fashion flop.
The 45-year-old mother of four joked about her outfit at the 2009 Emmy Award Show during the recent July 4 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.
Kourtney began her journey down memory lane while getting dressed for this year’s Emmy Awards, which she attended with her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
“I went to the Emmys 15 years ago and the look was completely different,” Kourtney said during the episode.
“I just wore a random gray color. I don’t even know the designer, I don’t even know where I got it or how I dressed,” she joked.

The outfit she was referring to was from 2009 and was a long, strapless, gray chiffon dress with ruffles at the bust.
Lemme’s founder was pregnant with her first child at the time, son Mason, who is now 14.
She wore her hair in long, loose curls and added a thick, silver-embellished bracelet.
During the episode, Kourtney pulled out a photo from the 2009 red carpet, in which she posed next to her sister Kim.
She decided to call Kim on FaceTime because they were joking about their fashion choices.
Kourtney recalled going to the awards show as Kim’s plus-one, invited by Ryan Seacrest. But after the red carpet was over, she went straight home.
“It looked like a dark gray dress with an ugly bracelet,” Kourtney told Kim of her favorite dress at the time.
“And I was wearing a white, off-the-shoulder dress with a black eye, and we were getting ready in your apartment down the road in Calabasas, in your kitchen,” Kim recalls.

Things were looking very different for the stars now, as Kourtney geared up to attend the 2024 Emmy Awards, where her husband would perform for a star-studded audience.
This year she did not opt for a gray dress, but for a chic black pantsuit with satin details.
Her husband, Barker, wore a matching suit.
It was one of their first performances after Kourtney gave birth to son Rocky Thirteen Barker on November 1.
In recent years, the star has been candid about her fertility journey, which saw her and her husband undergo multiple IVF treatments in the hopes of conceiving.
“We stopped IVF probably two months before our wedding and so it took a year to get all those hormones and chemicals out of my system,” Kourtney revealed on the previous season of The Kardashians, per In style.
“We didn’t try at all. I didn’t even check my ovulation anymore. We decided to put it in God’s hands and thought it just wasn’t happening. We accepted it and then… God’s plan,” she shared.
After experiencing fertility issues, Kourtney conceived naturally. On Valentine’s Day to be exact.

However, her pregnancy did not go smoothly. In the third trimester, she had to undergo emergency surgery on her fetus, because fluid was found in Rocky’s lungs.
Fortunately, everything went well during the operation and she was kept on bed rest.
She talked about her experiences during this season of their reality show.
It is super rare that this [is] “The condition he had, but it’s also super rare and we’re lucky we found it,” Kourtney said.
“And thank you, God, for this successful operation. I am so grateful, I have no words,” she said with relief.
