People of all ages can have BDD, but it is most common in teens and young adults. It affects both men and women.

This came after Katie showed off the results of her 17th breast augmentation on Instagram on Monday in a strapless leopard print jumpsuit.

The reality star recently underwent further cosmetic surgery at a clinic in Brussels.

Over the years, Katie has undergone a variety of procedures including a nose job, a silhouette facelift, 3D, veneers, lip fillers and Botox.

Katie showed off her slim body and toned legs as she posed for the stunning photo.

Earlier this month, Katie posted a photo on Instagram of her breast augmentation, in which she wore a surgical gown before the surgery.

She wrote: ‘I have been coming here for years and it is absolutely the best breast surgeon. I recommend it to everyone.’

In another selfie, the mother of five added: “First on the list.”

She previously shared her surgery plans with MailOnline, vowing to ‘never stop’ having operations.

She announced that her 17th breast augmentation and sixth facelift will take place “in a few months,” saying, “I’m just trying to find time to do it. I’m never going to stop doing this surgery… I want to be a Bratz doll.”

She hit back at critics, continuing: ‘It’s my body and I do what I want to do. That’s how it should be, our body, your choice. The difference is I talk about it.

There are many people hiding [what they’ve had done].

Katie has said she plans to have children with her boyfriend JJ Slater in six months, but she stresses she is in “no rush” to make that happen just yet.

Her impassive social media updates came as her £2million home was seized by bailiffs, two months after she was served with an eviction notice.

This came after Katie admitted her suicide attempt was ‘the culmination of a long breakdown’ after splitting from her third husband Kieran Hayler.

Katie reflected on the emotional time she tried to end her life after reaching ‘breaking point’ following her divorce.

The devoted mother, who is in a happy relationship with JJ Slater, checked herself into the Priory shortly after finding herself relying on drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism amid her suicide attempt.

Speaking to You Magazine, Katie opened up to Bryony Gordon about the emotional and difficult time in her life.

She said, “People don’t realize what I’ve been through.”

For example, they don’t know that she attempted suicide because she is divorced from her third husband, Hayler.

“I just didn’t want to be here anymore. I thought, ‘What’s the point? There’s no one here, no one to help, no one to understand what I’m feeling.’

“I woke up to it and thought, ‘What the f***? I can’t do this to my children.’ I was at breaking point.”

Katie went to the private hospital The Priory and realised the suicide attempt was the result of a long-term breakdown.

People of all ages can have BDD, but it is most common in teens and young adults. It affects both men and women.

Having BDD doesn’t mean you’re vain or self-absorbed. It can be very annoying and have a big impact on your life.

Symptoms of BDD

You may have BDD if you:

  • worrying a lot about a specific part of your body (especially your face)
  • spend a lot of time comparing your appearance to other people’s
  • look at yourself in mirrors a lot or avoid mirrors altogether
  • going to great lengths to hide flaws – for example, spending a lot of time combing your hair, applying makeup, or choosing clothes
  • picking at your skin to make it ‘smooth’

BDD can have a serious impact on your daily life, including your work, social life and relationships. BDD can also lead to depression, self-harm and even thoughts of suicide.

If you think you have BDD, you should see your doctor.

If you have relatively mild symptoms of BDD, you should be referred for a form of talk therapy called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This therapy can be done alone or in a group setting.

If you have moderate symptoms of BDD, you should be offered CBT or an antidepressant called a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).

If you have more severe symptoms of BDD, or if other treatments don’t work, you should be offered cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in combination with an SSRI.
