The Princess of Wales made a triumphant return to public life today when she attended the Wimbledon men’s final with her daughter Princess Charlotte.
Charlotte, nine, also sat with her mother in the Royal Box last year. They were without Prince George, ten, perhaps indicating that he will be with his father tonight at the Euros final in Berlin.
The royal, who opted for a purple dress, is a big tennis fan and has been patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016.
She was spotted today chatting to female players ahead of the final matchday of SW19.
She often presents the trophy to the winner of the women’s singles, but this year she was present on the last day of the tournament.
Charlotte, nine, looked gorgeous in a blue polka dot dress with her hair tied in a bow.
Her attendance at Wimbledon today marks the mother of three’s first official public appearance since her last appearance at Trooping the Colour last month.
Many celebrities and members of the Royal Family have made appearances in the Royal Box over the years, including the late Queen Elizabeth, Meghan Markle and Queen Camilla.

Earlier this week, the Princess paid tribute to Andy Murray’s “incredible Wimbledon career”, saying the tennis star was “absolutely devastated” after Emma Raducanu withdrew from their doubles match.

The 37-year-old Scot had planned to play his final matches at the tournament with Raducanu as the highlight of his dazzling career, but the 21-year-old withdrew last week due to ‘stiffness in her wrist’.
Taking to social media, Kate wrote: “An incredible Wimbledon career comes to an end. You should be so incredibly proud Andy Murray. From all of us, thank you! C,” Kate said in a personally signed message on X.
Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton was also in attendance this week, her first guest since her sister, the Princess of Wales, was diagnosed with cancer on Friday.
She looked effortlessly elegant in a stylish floral jumpsuit by Claire Mischevani as she attended the 12th day of Wimbledon on Friday.
Elsewhere, Pippa and Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, were in cheerful mood as they watched the action from the Royal Box last week.
The pair also appeared very focused as they played the second-round match between Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Britain’s Jacob Fearnley.
Both also laughed as they chatted with other attendees, including Sebastian Coe, the president of the International Association of Athletics Federations, who was pictured giggling in the background with a lively Carole.

The radiant bride and groom looked their best as they arrived side by side for the prestigious event in London.
It follows their joyous appearance at Royal Ascot last month, where they were joined by members of the royal family, including their son-in-law Prince William, at the extravagant event.
Last year she entered the Royal Box, where she witnessed the inauguration of her good friend Roger Federer during a special ceremony at the club.
In a clip shared by Kensington Palace on their YouTube channel last year, the pair played a doubles match on Court No. 3, where Federer won his first match 20 years ago en route to his first Wimbledon title, to highlight the work of ball boys and girls at the tournament.

Kate managed to outpace the Swiss star, prompting him to exclaim: “I think it was on the line. Awesome!”
However, the princess also took the opportunity to secretly receive coaching advice from the former world number 1.
“Tips on my serve would be very helpful too,” she said. But Federer responded only with a compliment, saying: “The serve looks good.”
Keen tennis player Kate said: ‘Wimbledon is known for its incredibly professional ball boys and girls.
“It’s incredible how much work goes into it, it’s incredible to see that behind the scenes.” She then said, “It’s so good to see you, Roger,” before walking onto the field for their match.
