Jessica Alba reveals why she won’t post thirst traps – as she steps out in business chic look in NYC

Jessica Alba was the picture of smart and sophisticated style as she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old founder of The Honest Company wore a chic burgundy outfit while out in the SoHo neighborhood.

She wore a smart blazer over a maroon button-up dress with a slit down the middle, revealing her legs.

Matching heels and a quilted clutch complete the sleek, meeting-ready look.

The eyes were fashionably protected by cat-eye frames, while statement earrings added a glamorous touch to the look.

Her hair was beautifully put up in wavy curls that fell over her chest and had a classic center parting.

She also gave a manicure in a deep plum color.

In addition to her acting career, Alba recently partnered with Instagram to implement their new Teen Accounts feature.

“Teen accounts limit who can contact teens and what content they can see, ensuring their time is well spent,” Meta said.

This means fans won’t see any thirst traps on her Instagram account.

“I believe that setting a good example is more important than telling your kids what to do,” she told the site. “And I have nothing against thirst traps, but as a mother of two girls and a boy, I’m not going to post a bunch of thirst traps, you know what I mean?”

‘I think it’s important to try to lead by example as best we can and to have a variety of [of things to post]“It doesn’t necessarily have to be one thing,” she added.

Currently, Jessica’s eldest daughter Honor is the only one of her children who uses social media.

The actress revealed that she has taken to her daughter’s account to unfollow pages that “don’t feel healthy or right” for Honor.

“I’ll unfollow them and I’ll follow more body positive influencers and funny, cute animals and stuff like that, just so her algorithm doesn’t get skewed. [bad]’, she explained.

Jessica said she’s helping launch the new Teen Accounts feature because “online and digital safety is my number one priority as a parent.”
