What was missing was her Oscar-winning husband’s wedding ring.
It’s the first time since her 2022 wedding that she won’t be wearing her stones on her ring finger.
The couple are estranged and have not been photographed together in two months, with multiple sources reporting that they are on the verge of announcing their separation.
The 55-year-old singer wore a floral print sundress, maroon heels and a matching bag with cat-eye sunglasses as she headed to a preview of Cats in New York City.
She wore her hair up and her glamorous look was perfectly accentuated by heavy makeup.

Jennifer and Ben, who were engaged 20 years ago but ended their relationship after three years, have been living apart for several months amid speculation that their union is over.
In June, Jennifer and Ben put their $68 million Los Angeles mansion up for sale.
And he’s already got one $20.5 million ‘Bachelor condo’ in Brentwood near ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Ben and Garner, 52, were married from 2005 to 2018 and have children together: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel.
Jennifer bought the house on her 55th birthday, which reportedly made her very sad, as it was a sign that he had truly moved on with his life.
The This Is Me… Now singer was on the East Coast this summer.
She recently celebrated her birthday without her husband.
She was also seen attending meetings in New York without Ben by her side; he was in LA at the office.

Reports of Ben and Jen’s marital problems surfaced back in May, after the couple hadn’t been seen together since late March.
A source told In Touch at the time, “Ben has already moved out and they will likely have to sell the dream home they’ve been looking for for two years.
“They will never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”

One of Lopez’s friends from LA told the Ny Breaking: ‘If it’s just a matter of putting in the effort, then you better trust that [Jen] will turn it around.
“She has put her heart and soul into her love story with Ben and won’t give that up easily,” the source added.
“I hear there is still a lot of love, so there must be hope.”
Jen and Ben may be forced to be together next month after all.
Unstoppable, a new sports drama starring Lopez and produced by her husband Affleck, will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024.
