They became ‘random’ friends after meeting at Glastonbury this year.
But now it has been revealed that Tom Cruise and Spanish singer Victoria Canal may have crossed the line from friendship and moved on to something romantic.
The Hollywood star’s colleagues were stunned when Ms Canal visited the set of Mission: Impossible 8 in Oxfordshire.
She spent most of the day there, sparking rumors that the couple – who are more than 35 years apart in age – may have been having a romance.
“It’s all very bizarre,” said one crew member. “Tom invited Victoria to watch him film all day and that’s just not something he does for his random friends.

‘When she turned up, there was a lot of gossip: is she Tom’s new romantic partner? It may have seemed unlikely that they would become more than friends, but they are virtually inseparable.
“They’ve seen each other a lot and Victoria is beautiful. It all happened in plain sight.”
Cruise and Canal hit it off instantly when they met after she performed on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury with Coldplay, alongside Michael J Fox.
According to sources, they got along very well and met at least five times.
And Ms Canal, 25, is said to have visited Cruise’s luxurious apartment in Knightsbridge, London.
Just days after they were introduced, Cruise, 62, invited Ms. Canal, who was born without a right forearm due to amniotic band syndrome, to meet again at the Twisters premiere at Cineworld in London’s Leicester Square.
He flew her to the capital in his helicopter and video footage has emerged of them giggling as they walked through the hall, and later they walked through the city together.

Ms. Canal then wrote on Instagram: ‘We met backstage at [Glastonbury] and he was talking about the upcoming premiere we were both going to and he said, ‘Come with me!’
A week later, Cruise and Ms. Canal, who resembles his ex-wife Katie Holmes in appearance, were seen holding hands and giggling together at the Battersea Power Station helicopter landing pad in London.
Cruise lovingly helped the singer zip up her jacket before escorting her off the runway.
Days later, Ms. Canal was his guest in the VIP area for Bruce Springsteen’s concert at Wembley Stadium. After the performance, the pair met Springsteen backstage and posted a photo of him on Instagram. Ms. Canal, who plays piano and has also sung with the likes of Hozier and Leslie Odom Jr., has acknowledged her and Cruise’s closeness, saying he is “the most random friend I’ve ever made.”
Born in Munich, she moved to Barcelona as a child. In 2015, Ms. Canal left for the US for her first tour, but relocated to Amsterdam in 2021 due to the pandemic.
Then Coldplay frontman Chris Martin discovered her music after she shared a post online. He was later sent her Instagram profile by a friend.
Martin introduced Ms Canal to his record label, Parlophone, and they signed her. He described her song Swan Song as “one of the best songs ever written.”
