Is this the world’s most expensive football ticket? Real Madrid create 300 ‘Super VIP’ seats – worth £210k per seat – as part of £1.5bn renovation of iconic Bernabeu home

  • The chairs are expected to be ready for purchase next year
  • Exclusive food, drinks and products are offered to members in the package

Real Madrid have transformed the Santiago Bernabeu into more than just a stadium; it is a masterpiece of architectural design.

The days of arriving at a football field with the expectation of being seated in a cramped space with an uncomfortable, upright plastic chair, where all you could get was lukewarm hamburgers and hot dogs, are long gone.

We have entered a new era of football, where hosting a match is no longer just about satisfying a fan’s passion, but is now seen as a business opportunity. Club owners no longer see their stadiums as just a place where people come to watch their beloved teams play, but instead they have realised the valuable revenue opportunity that comes from having a state-of-the-art football venue.

Real Madrid were among the first to recognise this and carried out an estimated £1.5 billion renovation to modernise their already iconic stadium.

In addition to adding more seats, a retractable roof and a VIP nightclub, there are also plans to build 300 ‘Super VIP’ seats, each worth a whopping €250,000, making it one of the most expensive seats in world football, if not the most expensive, and possibly the most expensive.

According to RelevanceReal Madrid have created 300 ‘Super VIP’ seats. Designed with nothing but luxury and exclusivity in mind, the seats are set apart from the stands and offer the best possible view of the pitch inside the stadium.

In the first amphitheater, those who can afford to get a seat will have access to exclusive food, drinks and other products, as well as unique experiences such as live shows.

But most importantly, it is a place where you can meet the most influential people in the world.

When Relevo came up with the idea for the VIP area, he revealed that Real Madrid actually designed these seats to create an unprecedented platform for millionaire networking.

The club announced that the seats were ‘better than the players’ seats’, hoping to attract some of the world’s richest people.

And they will have to do so, because the price you pay to get such a seat is not low.

To belong to this exclusive club for the next 30 years, members must pay a joining fee of around €250,000 (£210,000), plus an annual chair fee.

If you purchase one of these exclusive seats, you will not only get the best views of all Real Madrid home games, but you will also gain access to the other events held at the Santiago Bernabeu, such as concerts and NFL games.

If all this isn’t enough to tempt you, members of this exclusive club also get their own parking space.

The new VIP area is expected to open next year and is the latest in a long list of impressive amenities Madrid has added since the groundbreaking renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu.

By purchasing one of these exclusive seats, they will also have access to the other different events held at the Santiago Bernabeu, such as concerts and NFL games.
