Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky looked as in love as ever during their luxurious family vacation in Barcelona.
The couple, who married in 2010, flew to the Spanish city with their three children to celebrate Elsa’s 48th birthday in style.
Spanish actress Elsa, originally from Madrid, shared her experiences of their fantastic sightseeing trip, complete with a luxurious meal, on Instagram on Saturday.
In one shot, Elsa and 40-year-old Australian actor Chris are seen looking still in love as they lie face to face and pose on a traditional Spanish street.
Elsa looked effortlessly stylish in a red sundress and black platform heels for the outing, keeping her essentials in a luxe $1,600 Loewe bag.
She shielded her eyes with dark sunglasses as she put her arm around Chris, who looked casual in a black T-shirt and dark pants.
The couple were joined by their children – India, 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 10 – and Elsa shared a number of family photos as she documented the trip.

Chris was seen smiling as a strange looking smoking box was placed on the table in front of him, his son nervously sticking his hand into the steaming vapor.
It seems the family has gone all out for the fine dining experience, as the upscale restaurant is considered one of the best in the world.
Elsa also shared photos of herself and her children visiting local tourist attractions, including the Balloon Museum, where they all played in ball pits.
The athletic family also cycled around town and visited a motocross park, where Elsa filmed her daredevil son trying his hand at off-road motorcycle racing.
The big trip back to Elsa’s native Spain was to celebrate her 48th birthday and she enthusiastically told us that she had had the ‘best’ birthday with her family in Barcelona.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes!! I had the most amazing day,” she wrote alongside a smiling photo of herself and Chris.

The couple live with their three children in a $30 million mansion near Byron Bay after moving from Los Angeles to Australia nine years ago.
In 2021, Elsa revealed that she and Chris have a very simple trick to keeping their marriage happy and healthy.
Speak with Hello! magazineshe said that the Thor actor has a talent for soothing any disagreement with a joke.
“We enjoy doing the same thing and Chris has a great sense of humor and knows how to take the sting out of the situation,” she said.
