American superstar Matt Damon appeared to be in high spirits as he was spotted enjoying a stroll through Byron Bay, NSW, with his wife Luciana and close friend Lauren Phillips on Saturday.
The 53-year-old Jason Bourne star looked effortlessly stylish in an open, black patterned shirt, paired with a plain green T-shirt and beige trousers.
The Massachusetts actor completed his sleek look with white sneakers, adding stylish aviator sunglasses and a brown baseball cap.
He completed his relaxed look with a salt-and-pepper beard.
The actor beamed as he chatted with Luciana and Lauren as they walked down the street.
The Hollywood star appeared to be in high spirits as he walked arm in arm with his vivacious wife, 48-year-old Luciana.
The couple were joined by their Australian friends, Nova radio star Phillips, who looked chic in a colorful ensemble, and her entrepreneur fiancé Paul O’Brien.
Damon, who is currently in the country with Casey Affleck to promote their upcoming film The Instigators, appeared to be having the time of his life as he walked into a local store to try on and purchase a pair of sunglasses.

His outing comes after radio star Phillips made a very surprising confession about her ‘boyfriend’ Matt.
The 41-year-old radio host admitted on Nova’s Jase and Lauren show on Wednesday that she hasn’t seen any of Matt’s movies yet.
She then told how Matt convinced her to watch his Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting, which he co-wrote and starred in with Ben Affleck.
“Lauren is terrible at watching movies,” her co-host Jase Hawkins said during an interview with the Hollywood actor.

Phillips, who lives in Melbourne, was introduced to Damon by the Hemsworth family several years ago.
Her fiancé, aviation magnate Paul O’Brien, also counts Matt and Thor star Chris Hemsworth among his friends.
Matt is known for his love of Australia and regularly travels to the region for holidays.
On Wednesday he appeared on Channel Seven’s Sunrise with Casey Affleck, 48, to promote their upcoming film The Instigators.
The superstar, who spends a lot of time with his family in Australia, spoke in the interview about his love for Queensland and in particular the iconic agricultural festival The Ekka in Brisbane.

She then revealed how Matt convinced her to watch his Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting, which he both starred in and co-wrote with Ben Affleck.
“You’re almost half Australian these days. You seem to be at the Ekka every other year,” said reporter Steve Hargrave.
“I’ve been to Ekka a few years in a row,” Matt admitted. “I don’t know if I’m going to make it this year because I have to get back to America.”
Matt then explained the festival to Casey Affleck, who was unaware of the annual event.
‘It’s great. I have to take him [Affleck] “To the Ekka,” said Matt.
The action movie star added that he is usually the one jumping on the “scary” rides, while his family prefers to watch from the sidelines.

The Ekka, formally known as the Royal Queensland Show, is Queensland’s annual agricultural show and is held at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Matt is the father of daughters Isabella (18), Gia (15) and Stella (13) and his wife Luciana (48). He also has daughter Alexia (25) from a previous relationship.
