But it seems even Rihanna’s fame has its limits, as a young boy didn’t recognise her when she met Manchester City star Jack Grealish in New York on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old billionaire singer was in the Big Apple to watch Man City’s pre-season defeat to AC Milan and posed with Jack and AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah.
But a fan who was also in the audience walked up to Rihanna, apparently not recognizing her, and asked her to take a picture of him with the football players.
Rihanna agreed and sat on a chair to get a perfect shot of the boy and his idols.

But a fan who was also in the room approached Rihanna and, apparently not recognizing her, asked her to take a photo of him with the footballers
A clip of the heartwarming moment was shared on social media, with many X/Twitter users jokingly noting that the boy didn’t appear to recognise Rihanna.
According to many, this was because the singer had not released an album since 2016 and had focused more on her business activities in recent years.
Users wrote: ‘The younger generation doesn’t recognize Rihanna anymore and it’s all her fault.’
“That lady hasn’t made an album in almost 10 years. Those kids look 8-9. They don’t know anything about it.”
‘She needs to release that album and reclaim her throne’… ‘She needs to release new music tomorrow!’… ‘Rihanna is such a kind queen’.
“I promise you she doesn’t care. From what little I know about her, I bet she loved taking pictures of these kids.”
It would have been very exciting for Jack to meet Rihanna, but in 2019 he already confessed that she was his celebrity crush.
Jack, who played for Aston Villa at the time, said in an interview that Rihanna was the celebrity he would most like to meet, ‘because she’s beautiful and I like her music’.

Jack is currently expecting his first child with girlfriend Sasha Attwood, who is believed to be five months pregnant.
Sasha and Jack have been in love since childhood and met when they were 16 years old.
The athlete shared a photo of himself holding Sasha’s growing baby bump to announce the news.
“The greatest blessing in life,” the winger captioned the post, while Sasha wrote: “Half me, half you – beyond blessed.”
Jack’s current and former teammates congratulated the pair on their good news, including Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Ollie Watkins.
