‘Some are purely real estate, others are related to architecture. I would like these companies to correlate with each other.

‘I would like to study architecture. Ever since I was a young boy, I had a very strange dream.

‘When I lived on the tenth floor in Grochow, I couldn’t see the center of Warsaw.

‘On the other side there was a small window in the stairs, from which you could see the panorama of Warsaw perfectly.

‘When I looked through this window, I thought I would design a building that would change the view of the city.

‘And this still applies. I would love to design, build and sell one.”

Szczesny admits that it will take a long time to achieve his goal, but stated that he is very ambitious.

He said: ‘Of course it won’t happen straight away that I will end my career and build 150 floors in Warsaw in five years.

‘But that is my goal, to pursue it step by step. My projects, both personal and professional, have grown over time.

‘In this development and architectural dream, I have so far tried to make increasingly larger investments in preparation, in the hope that the dream will one day become reality.

‘It may not happen, but the most important thing is to always take small steps.’

Szczesny joined Arsenal as a youth player in 2006 and went on to make 181 appearances for the Gunners.

He spent two years on loan at Roma before signing for Juventus in 2017.
