Fears for Paul Hogan’s wayward son as he reveals his rotten teeth in ominous video just days after Crocodile Dundee star’s ice-ravaged grandson is rushed to rehab

Paul Hogan’s wayward son, Chance, shared a disturbing video on social media on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old is the youngest son of the 84-year-old Crocodile Dundee star and the only child the Australian actor shared with his ex-wife and co-star Linda Kozlowski.

He posted disturbing videos on Instagram, in which he issued a threatening message that something was “about to happen.”

Chance looked unrecognizable with his long brown locks and blue sunglasses. He had a cigarette stuck between his rotten teeth and his gums appeared to be inflamed.

“It’s just beginning,” Chance said in his first video, smiling exaggeratedly for the camera.

He then posted a series of selfies on the balcony of a Los Angeles apartment while listening to music.

In one photo, he was seen holding a beer in his hand, while in front of him was an ashtray filled with dozens of smoked cigarettes.

Chance’s second video was the most disturbing, as he appeared to share a countdown to an unknown event with his followers.

“One hour and 25 minutes, 24 minutes now actually. That’s when it starts. Let’s see,” he said.

It’s unclear what is meant by “beginning” and Chance has not posted anything on Instagram in the hours following the final video.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Chance and his father Paul for comment.

Chance was last seen in March during a rare outing with Paul in Los Angeles, just months after he was hospitalized in October 2023.

Paul told DailyMail.com during their outing that his youngest son is “doing much better” following an emergency visit to hospital.

Just months earlier, Chance had posted a disturbing video on Instagram showing himself covered in cuts and bruises.

But on a sunny March afternoon in LA, Chance looked a lot better as father and son enjoyed some quality time together.

The aspiring musician has a history of erratic behavior and was said to have been obsessed with the devil for years, until his parents worked together to get him back on track.

Chance’s latest disturbing news came just days after Paul’s ice-battered grandson Jake was rushed to a grim prison to rehabilitate.

Jake, 34, confessed to a string of crimes in a desperate bid for one last chance to kick his uncontrollable ice addiction.

On Friday he pleaded guilty to a series of minor offences to have his case fast-tracked to the NSW Drug Court and was immediately admitted to a prison rehabilitation program.

He posted disturbing videos on Instagram, in which he menacingly claimed that something was about to 'start'. Chance looked unrecognizable with his long brown locks and blue sunglasses, with a cigarette between his rotting teeth and his gums appearing to be inflamed.

Downing Centre District Court Judge Sharon Freund was told that Jake had opted for drugs court and gone to the special rehab facility, where prisoners must plead guilty.

Jake is hopelessly addicted to methamphetamine and is placed in the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre at Parklea Prison, 40km west of Sydney.

His harsh new prison regime brings with it a grim new reality, one where he has no privacy – not even in the toilet – as he attempts to become drug-free and earn his release.

He will spend the next six months in closed detention, where he will undergo therapeutic treatments, and then another six months in semi-open detention.

When he is eventually released on probation, he will still have to undergo urine tests three times a week at the Parklea centre.

The Drug Court system is designed for prisoners like Jake whose crimes are directly related to their drug addiction. Violent offenders or armed robbers are not eligible.

While Jake has been caught repeatedly with vehicles and burglary tools, including wire cutters and adjustable wrenches, he has not been charged with any violent crimes.

Jake, whose famous grandfather is best known for his legendary Crocodile Dundee films, has a string of arrests and offences to his name since becoming addicted to ice three years ago.

Previous charges against him include possession of a knife in a public place, malicious damage, drug possession, shoplifting, bicycle theft and possession of stolen goods.

He was given the chance to get his life back on track when his father left New Zealand and a magistrate left Jake in his care.

But Jake breached the community service order imposed on him when his father Todd arrived from New Zealand and he and Jake’s sister Lara pleaded for his release in May.

Jake immediately went back to meth. Daily Mail Australia obtained photos showing the once handsome young carpenter looking gaunt and battered by ice.

Todd, one of Paul’s five children with his first wife Noelene, promised to help Jake adhere to court-imposed conditions, which include abstaining from drugs and alcohol, not committing other offenses and appearing in court when necessary.

After being released from Silverwater Prison in May, Jake went to live with his father at Edgecliff Lodge Motel in Sydney’s east.

But he reportedly ignored the quiet life of family dinners, preferring to go out on the town with friends.

Within eight days of his release, police arrested Jake for an earlier alleged theft of a bicycle. Around midnight on 27 July, Jake was arrested again in Glebe in Sydney’s west.

He was charged with possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine and also with possession of burglary tools, including a wrench.

When he failed to appear at Downing Centre Court on 2 August, Judge Clare Farnan issued a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested by police six days later.

He was previously charged with another offence: the theft of a black Trek Marlin mountain bike, recklessly destroying a bicycle fence and trespassing at Woolloomooloo in February.

He was also charged with stealing a Red Bull energy drink and two oatmeal bars worth a total of $9.60 from Woolworths in July.

The Proactive Crime Unit in Kings Cross has also charged him with possessing vehicle breaking tools in Kingsford in June, and he is also charged with breaching an AVO.

By pleading guilty to all charges against him and attending rehab while his case is transferred to drug court, Jake may still get a chance at freedom, albeit under very strict conditions.

Paul Hogan has sons Brett, Clay, Scott and Todd, and daughter Lauren with his ex-wife Noelene Edwards, to whom he was married for 25 years and divorced in 1986.

In 1990, he married his Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski, with whom he shares Chance. The couple divorced in October 2013.
