Fans in disbelief as hilarious footage shows future Real Madrid star Endrick’s ONLY accurate pass for Brazil vs Uruguay

  • Endrick, 17, played the full 90 minutes for Brazil but completed just one pass

Fans took to social media to mock Endrick after the future Real Madrid star failed to make a significant impact during Brazil’s Copa America defeat to Uruguay on Saturday.

Endrick, who will move to Madrid from Palmeiras next summer after his 18th birthday, played all 90 minutes in Nevada, where the match ended 0-0, with Uruguay winning 4-2 on penalties.

Madrid central defender Eder Militao and former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz failed to find the net in the shootout, while Endrick failed to take a penalty. However, it was what Endrick did – or didn’t do – during regulation time that left fans baffled.

Statistics showed that he completed just one pass all night – out of five attempts. It later transpired that this single pass came from Brazil’s kick-off.

Footage of the pass was shared via X (formerly Twitter) by a Barcelona fan, accompanied by several crying emojis and the caption: ‘I’m dead, this is the “pass” my brother gave the whole match’.

Besides his one completed pass, Sofascore stats showed that Endrick had just one shot on target. His Expected Goals (xG) rating was just 0.03.

Endrick touched the ball a total of 23 times during the match, including three attempted dribbles, one of which was successful.

A fan responded to the video by tweeting, “How the hell is this possible?”

Another mocked: ‘The next Pele!’

A third response was, “That’s worse than zero touches in 90 minutes.”
