Eastenders star Vicki Michelle was taken to hospital after a serious fall that left her with broken bones.
The 73-year-old actress who played Jo Cotton in the soap series shared her shock fall with her followers on Instagram.
The star posted a photo of herself recovering in hospital after discovering she had suffered a broken shoulder in her “painful” accident.
But the actress appeared to be smiling the entire time as she posed with a sling around her arm, pointing to her broken shoulder.
Under the photo she wrote: ‘Sorry everyone, no Vix Mix Sunday this week. I had a bad fall and broke my shoulder.

Vicki’s followers and celeb friends were quick to send their well-wishes in the comments. Fellow soap star and former Emmerdale actress Linda Lusardi wrote: ‘Oh god. I wish you the best. Take care of yourself darling.’
‘Ouch. Bloody painful. I’m in the hospital. Hopefully I’ll be with you next week. Miss you already.’
Vicki’s followers and celebrities were quick to send her their best wishes in the comments.
