The survivors of the superyacht disaster in Sicily are heartbroken and continue to ask for the missing persons. Six of them are still missing.

The luxury sailing ship Bayesian was moored off the coast of Porticello, near Palermo, when a ‘whirlwind’ struck at around 5am this morning.

The boat quickly disappeared beneath the waves, killing one person. Six people, including British and American tourists, are still missing.

Doctor Domenico Cipolla, director of pediatrics and medicine and surgery at the Di Cristina Hospital in Palermo, said the remaining survivors were “constantly” seeking news about the welfare of their missing friends.

“The survivors are very tired and are constantly asking about the missing people. As far as I know, only one body has been found, the others are still missing,” he said.

‘We have given the survivors this information, but they talk and cry all the time because they realize there is little hope of finding their friends alive.

‘I know, by the way, that there were young people on board, very young people.

“They are very tired and they are constantly thanking us for the care and attention we are giving them and the little girl. They are very tired, but they are very nice people.”

Fifteen of the 22 people on board the sailboat were rescued by a Dutch ship nearby. It is feared that the six still missing were asleep in their cabins when the yacht sank.

The superyacht was lit up and lighting up the night sky when suddenly a jet of water appeared close to the boat.

According to witnesses, the yacht became entangled in the water jet just before 5 a.m. and then suddenly disappeared.

Lynch allegedly invited his family and friends onto the sailboat to celebrate the fraud and conspiracy allegations, alleging he planned to inflate the value of a company before selling it. The charges were dropped.

He had gathered guests from law firm Clifford Chance and his own company Invoke Capital after he was acquitted in June.
