Stranger Things actor David Harbour has revealed he doesn’t mind his wife Lily Allen spending his multi-million dollar fortune because he doesn’t know what to do with it.
The 49-year-old actor, who has amassed a new fortune of around $6 million thanks to his role as Jim Hopper in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, admitted he didn’t mind the 39-year-old singer redecorating their Brooklyn home.
Speaking of the Do You Miss Me? PodcastDavid also made his impromptu proposal at New York’s ‘most expensive jewelers’ after Lily set her sights on a huge diamond ring.
David told Miquita Oliver: ‘She loves to drag me to really expensive (stores). She really enjoys spending my money. I don’t blame her.
‘I actually have nothing to do with it’.

David was a guest on the podcast his wife normally hosts, but he stepped in because the singer was on a whale safari
Miquita confessed that Lily told her, “I really know what to do with it, so it’s a beautiful collaboration.”
The hostess also shared how impressed she was with her best friend’s massive, lavish renovation of the couple’s Brooklyn home, which Lily worked on with architect Ben Bischoff.
“It’s really nice when she has resources, because she picks out fun things. I thought, ‘OK, I just need a sauna and a cold plunge and I’m good.’
Their living room features a $902 Ginori vase, a $2,100 side table and a $799 gold palm leaf lamp, among other items.
Their kitchen boasts a $9,169 Daniela Wilde chandelier and a $1,061 Match 1995 Beaded Round Soup Tureen.
David was a guest on the podcast that his wife normally presents, but he dropped out because the singer was on vacation to watch whales.
At one point, the Stranger Things star shocked Miquita when he revealed how Lily had made him buy the most expensive diamond ring at a top New York jewelry store, just months after the couple fell in love.
But he said that after Lily put the ring on her finger in the store, he took it off and decided to ask her to marry him.

David began his relationship with Lily in 2019 before they married in Las Vegas the following year
He said, ‘It’s funny because we had been talking about it and then we went to Harry Winston’s in New York, a big store that sells diamond rings.
‘So we went to Harry Winston’s and she looked at these really expensive rings.
“I think she just saw one, she was like, ‘Oh my God.’ She put it on. I was like, ‘Oh, it’s really beautiful.’ And I just walked away.
“I said to her when I was in Harry Winston, ‘I got down on one knee when she had the ring on and I said, ‘Will you marry me?’
“And she was like, ‘Of course.’ But it was very relaxed. I mean, in a way, like our wedding — like it’s not an overproduced moment that we talk about, or that’s talked about.
‘I think there are people who want that in their lives, but we have so many moments like that in our lives that I wanted it to feel almost mundane.
“There’s something about the expectation that you have to tell the story. We were getting enough of that with interviews. There was something about it where I thought, ‘Let’s just make this a thing that we do.’
“And there’s something about it that makes it even more valuable to me.”
David began his relationship with Lily in 2019, after which they got married in Las Vegas the following year.
Miquita said to David, “I think it’s amazing that Lily took you to a jewelry store before you even proposed. Unbelievable.”
To which he replied, “Man, she bought the most expensive ring in the store.”
