Dakota Johnson suffered a wardrobe malfunction while promoting Daddio on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old actress, wearing a black dress with thin straps, clutched her left shoulder after Jimmy, 56, played a Daddio clip featuring Dakota opposite co-star Sean Penn, 63.
“Part of your dress just came unhooked,” Jimmy said, chuckling. ‘Are you OK? Should I get some tape?’
“My dress just fell off,” Dakota said as she held her broken dress belt.
“It looks like things are continuing to go well,” Jimmy said.

However, the belt was clearly broken when Dakota tried to fix it.
“I’m just holding it,” Dakota said.

Jimmy told the audience that the film is about two people having a conversation in a taxi.
“Yes,” Dakota said, grinning as she held up her dress.
Jimmy joked that she should “hold the important part” and Dakota then grabbed her breast with both hands.
“The movie is really good,” Dakota said, drawing laughter from the studio audience.

Dakota previously told her neighbor Jimmy that construction was underway at her house after a “huge eucalyptus tree” fell during recent “crazy storms.”
The Fifty Shades franchise star also played a game where she had to determine which of three people was high.
“I’m well versed in that,” Dakota said.
“I’m an experienced detective,” she added.
She asked Christina, Carrie and Manuel questions to determine if they were high.
“I have a feeling Carrie will enjoy the weed,” Dakota said.
However, Manuel fooled her and admitted that he was the highest.
Daddio will be released in the US on June 28 by Sony Pictures Classics and Dakota is also a co-producer.
Dakota also stars in the comedy-drama film Am I OK? which was directed by Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne.
