Cronulla thigh tattoos: Identity of footy player with shocking tats revealed as he’s ordered to cover them up or QUIT the sport

  • Cronulla junior given an ultimatum about tattoos is Joshua Taylor-Myles
  • Taylor-Miles has been ordered to cover up the tattoos if he wants to play
  • His leg tattoos say ‘eat s*** f****t’ and ‘snort lines and f***’

A tattooed footy star who was told to cover up his offensive designs or risk being banned from competition has been unmasked as Joshua Taylor-Myles.

It was reported on Sunday that an unnamed NSWRL star had been given an ultimatum after officials discovered two offensive messages on his legs.

One tattoo reads ‘eat s**tf****t’, while the second tattoo on his other leg reads ‘snortlines and f***’.

The identity of the player has been a mystery, but Ny Breaking Australia can now reveal the player in question is 23-year-old hooker Taylor-Myles, who plays for Aquinas Colts in Sydney’s south-west.

Taylor-Myles was selected to play in the NSWRL Luke Lewis Cup last week, with an image of his tattoos going viral on social media.

On Monday morning, a NSWRL spokesperson told Ny Breaking Australia: ‘Cronulla JRL has issued an official warning to the player and asked him to cover the offending tattoos if he wishes to continue playing in a sanctioned NSWRL competition.

‘The NSWRL and Cronulla JRL are committed to providing a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all people, including people of different sexualities and genders. Being an inclusive sport reflects not only our core values, but also the diversity of our local communities.

“We have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, harassment or defamation towards people of different sexualities and genders.”

Ny Breaking Australia has contacted Taylor-Myles and Aquinas Colts for comment.

Cronulla officials were only made aware of the highly offensive tattoos when a photo of the tattoos circulated on social media.

“Just despicable,” said News Corp commentator Buzz Rothfield.

“They’re so insulting. It’s so homophobic. They didn’t know. They didn’t check the leg tattoos of every player they picked in the representation side, but when a photo of the player was posted on social media they recognized it and sent it to the New South Wales Rugby League and gave a good shout out to Dave Trodden.

‘He jumped on it straight away. He said we have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, harassment or defamation against people of different sexualities and genders.

“They told this guy, ‘Cover them with tape or you’ll never play in a New South Wales Rugby League sanctioned competition again.’ I applaud them for coming down so hard on his nonsense.

“He plays in a club where a lot of young women and men join for the fun, for the camaraderie, and that’s just so out of place.”

News Corp has described the father-of-one as a ‘smart number 9’ and ‘tall for a whore’.

“Taylor-Myles is known for exploding out of the ruck and being powerful enough to break the boundary,” the report said.

‘He is a well-known try scorer and often chooses the right option.’
