Jason Duggar, known from the TLC series Counting On, proposed to his girlfriend Maddie and she said yes.
Maddie, who already has a new Instagram username with her future last name, announced the news via the app on Friday.
“On August 24th Jase proposed to me and I couldn’t be happier!!,” she wrote to her humble supporters.
She thanked photographer @kaylajohnsonphoto_ “for capturing this special moment so beautifully” and added the hashtag “spring 2025,” hinting at a wedding date.
Jason, 24, will become the 13th child of TLC stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to tie the knot, following the recent nuptials of his sister Jana Duggar.

Jason and Maddie made their romance official on Instagram just three months before their engagement.
The future husband uploaded a series of photos showing the couple holding hands on the beach, wearing his and hers white outfits.
Weeks later, the duo reappeared on social media, sharing clips from their Fourth of July celebration.
Maddie accompanied Jason to his sister Jana’s wedding to Stephen Wissman on August 15.
He later responded to an online post from the new Mrs. Wissman: “Congratulations Jana and Stephen.”
Speaking on behalf of himself and Maddie, he added: ‘We are so happy for you guys!’
The photographer who captured Jason’s proposal said, “These two have the sweetest relationship I’ve ever seen.”

The Duggar family’s reality series 19 Kids and Counting on TLC was canceled in July 2015 after Josh Duggar’s history of sexual abuse came to light.
