The fun montage documented various moments from Coleen’s 24 years on the show, starting with her very first appearance. It also featured various panelists from the past and present.

Coleen captioned her post: ’25 years of @loosewomen (24 for me) with so much fun, laughter and sometimes tears… Thank you Loose Women for being such an important part of my life, and to all the amazing viewers, thank you for your loyalty and support! Here’s to the next 25! Love you all .’

However, she was soon forced to defend herself after a follower accused her of excluding certain panelists.

Other Loose Women legends making an appearance included Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, Saira Khan, Kaye Adams and Sherrie Hewson.

Andrea McClean, Stacey Solomon and Christine Lampard also had brief cameos in the clip.

Although Coleen featured a large number of the show’s stars in her video, one person was annoyed that some cast members were missing.

They wrote: ‘I only saw one photo of Carol McGiffin. There was nothing about Jackie Brambles, Kate Thornton or Terri Dyer.’

Responding to the criticism, Coleen explained that she could only show a ‘handful of highlights’, noting: ‘There have been dozens of Loose Women over the years… just a handful of highlights. Love to all the ladies, past and present.’

But as others commented, the star posted a pinned response squashing all speculation.

She wrote: ‘To clarify, I’ve compiled some highlights in honor of LW’s 25th anniversary.

“It would be impossible to feature all of the panelists, past and present, in the film. We have nothing but love for all of the ladies.”

It comes after Coleen revealed earlier this month that it has become a daily ritual for her to check herself for signs of cancer every day, following the tragic impact the disease has had on her family.

The Loose Women presenter, who is one of six sisters herself, candidly admitted she is terrified she could be the next member of the family to be struck by the disease.

Cancer has had a huge impact on the Nolan family after the sisters lost Bernie, 52, in 2013 after a three-year battle with breast cancer.

Meanwhile, Anne, 73, and Linda, 65, have both battled breast cancer. Linda’s illness was terminal after it returned in 2017.

Speaking with The Mirror Coleen spoke candidly about the preventative measures she takes, explaining: ‘We’ve had so much grief… I always check. I’m still like, “What if I missed it?”

“When I’m in the shower, I feel it and check it. If I ever think, ‘I don’t like that,’ I go straight to the doctor. And they say, ‘It’s fine, it’s a small cyst or an infection.’

Coleen hopes she won’t get the disease, but she explains that if she does get sick, she wants to find out as soon as possible.
