Outspoken feminist writer Clementine Ford has posted a bizarre clip on social media linking the assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar to the full moon.

The 43-year-old feminist shared a clip on Instagram in which she explained her theory about the astrological connection to Sinwar’s murder on October 16.

‘It was a huge full moon in Aries. “I follow a lot of astrology pages and I’m a tarot reader, and astrologically speaking, there was a collective howl around the world last night,” Ford began.

“And then to wake up this morning and see the news and see how the corrupt Western empire is shaping Sinwar’s targets. Yes, interesting.’

In astrology, full moons are considered times of ‘culmination’ when tensions can rise and affect people’s behavior in often unexpected and shocking ways.

The controversial Hamas leader was killed by a single shot on Wednesday after an hours-long gun battle during a routine operation in the Rafah area of the Gaza Strip.

Ford also shared a post comparing the divisive figure to Jesus, saying, “I would be more cautious about relying on the martyrdom of the Palestinian resistance.

“When the authorities killed that guy from Nazareth, they thought they were crushing his entire movement – now we’re counting time from the year of his birth.”

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Clementine for further comment.

The divisive social commentator has built a reputation for speaking out about Israel’s ongoing war.

Last month, Ford doubled down on a deleted post in which she claimed she does not believe Hamas soldiers executed Israeli hostages after the Palestinian terror group’s 2023 attack.

Ford, a self-described pro-Palestinian activist, initially made the statement in the comments section of another Instagram profile, accusing the Israeli government of fabricating the murder of hostages by Hamas soldiers.

About 250 Israeli hostages were taken hostage by Hamas late last year. According to the Israeli government, some 97 are still being held and another 33 are believed dead.

It was revealed that the bodies of six hostages had been found in the tunnels of Gaza. Days later, Ford denied that they had been killed by Hamas in a comment on a meme glorifying Israel’s potential downfall.

The meme featured two photos of actor Tobey Maguire; In the first film you saw him walking down the street with an uncomfortable expression, with the caption ‘My sister’s wedding’.

The second showed Maguire dressed in a suit and smiling. The caption read, “Israel’s downfall,” and Ford added, “I don’t believe for a second that Hamas executed these hostages. Israel’s desperation stinks.’

Although her initial comment appears to have been deleted, Ford reiterated her position in a statement to Daily Mail Australia.

She referred to an investigation by the left-wing Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which previously found that the Israeli army was responsible for the deaths of some of its own civilians – including three hostages – during attacks on Gaza.

However, Ford did not acknowledge that Hamas admitted to killing other Israeli hostages last year, nor did she mention that Haaretz reported that six Israeli soldiers had been killed by Hamas terrorists.
