Claudia Winkleman admitted she wants to ‘smell like sex’ and revealed the ‘dirty’ perfume she wears to achieve her chosen scent.
The 52-year-old TV presenter opened up about the “only perfume she’ll ever wear” and shared her beauty secrets in a new interview on Wednesday.
With notes of cedarwood essence, white musk and patchouli, this popular perfume calls itself an ‘intoxicating scent for the femme fatale.’
“I only wear Yves Saint Laurent Opium EDP,” Claudia told Gratitude‘I always go for the classic, old, brown bottle – it smells like pure filth.’
“It’s the best smell. It’s musky and it’s dirty. I don’t want to smell girly. I don’t want to smell like I just walked across a meadow.”

She added: ‘I don’t want any of that. I want to smell like sex.’
Claudia shared her beauty secrets earlier this year, revealing how she had to improvise when she ran out of self-tanner while filming The Traitors at the remote Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
The presenter admitted she needed an emergency after a week of filming for the popular BBC reality show, but was forced to use gravy instead.
She said the only thing available in local stores that remotely resembled self-tanner was ‘sauce granules’.
She told BBC1’s Would I Lie to You?: ‘I didn’t have my usual self-tanner on because I was in the castle, so I thought, ‘Let’s just use something!’
‘I don’t think I’m allowed to name a brand, but they were gravy granules.
‘I had a spray tan, but it was episode five – round table, you’re wearing tweed, but what else do you need? Gravy beads.
“They came from a store – there are stores there – and it’s really good. It really works.”

Claudia has previously admitted to using Bisto and tea bags as an alternative to tanning when she was a student 30 years ago
However, BBC viewers will no doubt be surprised to learn that she has resorted to this cheap trick again during the filming of the multi-million dollar TV series.
Claudia joked that her fake tan is just one of two skills she uses for television, adding: ‘All I do is paint myself orange and read from an autocue.’
