A failed proposal moment that went viral left many people on social media wondering if it was real or staged.
The video shows a couple attending an intercity game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers, which is shown on a ‘kisscam’ on the video board.
The male part of the couple, dressed in a Rams jersey, excitedly stands up and takes the woman’s hand as he gets down on one knee.
The woman, wearing a Chargers jersey, looks very uncomfortable and shakes her head as she tells the man no.
Just when things can’t get any worse, a woman walks down the stairs with a can of soda in one hand and a tray of nachos in the other. She spills both drinks on him, then apologizes profusely.

However, fans who saw the video immediately began to discredit the situation, claiming that it might be fake.
This is supported by Jourdan Rodrigue, The Athletic’s Rams reporter – who posted on Twitter that she had watched “rehearsals” of the scene before it took place.
“Wrestling from WWE is more believable than this,” one user wrote under the video on Twitter.
Another wrote: ‘It’s not likely he’s been staring at the nacho lady before’.
“I hate how stadiums choose to create staged situations to make people laugh and provoke reactions, instead of filming real fans,” complained another user.
As for the game itself, it was a low-scoring game, with the Rams beating their stadium-sharing rivals 13-9.
Rams QB Stetson Bennett completed 17 of 31 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown and one interception on the night.
