UFC veteran Alexander Volkov had his hair combed between rounds before defeating Sergei Pavlovich in the co-main event in Saudi Arabia.

Volkov claimed victory on points after three rounds in the all-Russia heavyweight fight in Riyadh, with the judges scoring the bout 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 in his favor.

Fans were stunned to see the 35-year-old getting his hair combed between the two intervals as he followed instructions from his trainers.

However, the bizarre incident did not affect his performance in the ring as he dominated the fight and had doubled Pavlovich’s tally when it came to total strikes and significant hits.

Fans responded on social media with one statement: “Attention to appearance has become part of the battle.”
